WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!Jan 01, 2002
NOT WHAT YOU WANT IN A TROUBLESHOOTING BOOK AT ALL. VERY LITTLE IN THE WAY OF EXPLANATION. HARDLY ANY GOOD SYSTEM ANALYSIS. ASKS YOU WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, THAT PROBABLY ISN'T THAT WHY YOU BOUGHT THE BOOK. IT IS SUPPOSED TO HELP YOU FIGURE IT OUT. SAVE YOUR MONEY KEEP LOOKING AROUND. THIS COPY IS COMING BACK.

Not a serious troubleshooting guideMar 10, 2003

This is a decent book if you are looking for a brief, general survey of HVAC troubleshooting. The format is concise and well organized, however it is definitely lacking in details and complete, accurate explanations. It would be much better if there were solutions to at least some of the troubleshooting problems.

I found some usefull information in the book. I didn't find any answers to the trouble shooting questions.. Maybe I need to read a book on reading a book.

Good book but lacking key detailsMar 07, 2011
By Wiley9190 This is a good book that covers the basics for trouble shooting. But if you are looking for answers to the trouble shooting questions in the book to double check yours, look somewhere else because they are not in the book. That being said you will never know if you were right or not, there is not even a teachers guide to the book for answers

Great Repair GuideFeb 12, 2011
By Terry W. Joyner I really enjoyed using this guide to help with repairs to AC and Heating systems. It was very informative and help me walk through the simple and more complex problems that techs run into on a daily basis. Highly reccomended for the beginner and the advanced.
