Smoke ManagementJul 01, 2011
By Jack An excellent book for designers of smoke management systems. Well laid out with many example calculations to guide the designer through the design process. The chapters on stairwell pressurisation and atrium smoke control are particularly good. The book does give an introduction to design fires and some basic fire dynamics, but designers should look to more detailed books on these topics for complex design. Designers should be aware that an Errata has been issued for this edition and they should obtain the Errata prior to embarking upon a design project.
